Description
Thompsons Stain Blocking Damp Seal is a high performance, microporous, breathable damp seal, which covers interior damp, water and other household stains.
It can be applied directly to damp ceilings and walls allowing the penetrating moisture to evaporate over time, therefore preventing peeling wallpaper and flaking paint.
Preparation: Ensure the source of the damp has been repaired and rectified before treating any mould, if present, with a good fungicidal wash. Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust before applying Thompsons Damp Seal.
Application: Apply liberally over the affected area with a good quality brush, overspreading approximately 30cm/ 12”. Two coats will be required, allowing 4 hours between coats (longer in cold conditions).
Usage: Interior Walls and Ceilings, including Plaster, Cement and Stone
Coverage: 7 SqMtrs/ litre/ coat – depending on porosity of the surface
Drying Time: 4 Hours
